At RLW Roofing, we believe social value is about making a genuine and lasting difference within our communities. One project that means a great deal to us was supporting the charity Your Ideas alongside another business in our group, P&H Fabrications.

P&H Fabrications designed and manufactured a memorial bench in memory of a young boy the charity supported who sadly passed away. To make the project even more meaningful, the children involved with the charity created the design for the plaque themselves, which was then brought to life using the factory’s laser cutting technology.

The bench was unveiled during a memorial celebration event held by the charity one year after his passing, where friends, family, and members of the community came together to remember and celebrate his life.

The impact of the project was deeply felt by everyone involved, with the charity sharing the following words:

“I honestly can’t thank you enough. The young people are so lucky. We are so grateful for everything you have done to sort this out, it is priceless. There have been kids on the bench all the time, lots of the young people don’t have the money to visit the grave so having this is honestly life changing.”
