RLW Roofing was appointed by Kier Construction to deliver the roofing and cladding package for the new Abbey fields Leisure Centre in Kenilworth, designed to provide the local community with year-round swimming pool space for families, swimming clubs, less confident, and disabled users.

Roofing Works

RLW delivered a specialist roofing solution tailored to the high-humidity environment typical of leisure facilities.

A Euroseam high-humidity acoustic roof system was installed, designed to provide excellent acoustic performance while maintaining durability in moisture-rich conditions.
In addition, a Bauder single-ply roofing system was applied across flat roof areas, incorporating Tata D137 metal decking to ensure a robust and reliable structural base.

Cladding & Fabrication

Accoya timber rainscreen cladding was installed to deliver a high-quality aesthetic with long-term durability. This was complemented by VM Zinc wall cladding, incorporating mineral wool insulation to meet stringent thermal and fire performance requirements.

Bespoke PPC aluminium cappings, soffits, and fascias were also included as part of the façade package. These elements were precision-fabricated and installed to achieve a clean, high-quality finish.
